Collectively our 4 tax preparers have 100 years of tax preparation experience:
       Our Director, James W Rickard has 40 years of experience
              and his son, James M (Jim) has 21 years of experience. 
                 Kathy has prepared returns for 27 years and
                  Nancy has been preparing for 16 years.

James M has a Bachelor's in Accounting from The Master's College and an MBA from California Lutheran University.  While in college he interned for Douglas Hammonds Accountancy Corporation.  Shortly after college he passed the CPA exam.  He is the Head Coach for the Men's Soccer team at The Master's College.  Jim works full-time for The Stewardship Services Foundation during tax season and the rest of the year he splits his time between the foundation and soccer.  His wife, Jolene helps out during tax season and they have 3 children.

Kathy has a Bachelor's in Accounting from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.  She worked as an accountant with Coca-cola for several years while her husband attended Northwest Baptist Seminary.  Her husband has been in the ministry for over 27 years.  Kathy works  full-time for The Stewardship Services Foundation during tax season and the rest of the year she keeps busy as a full-time pastor's wife.  She and her husband have 2 grown children.

Nancy attended Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.  She worked for several years as an accountant at hospitals in the Chicago area.  Nancy wrote and updates the computer program we use to prepare returns.  She works for the foundation year round and if you call during the summer she will probably be the one answering your questions.  Her husband is the Dean of Administration at the Master's College and they have 7 grown children and one grandchild.  Nancy and Kathy are sisters.

and our Office Staff:

Joan is the wife of our Director, Jim Rickard.  She works in the office full-time during tax season.  Joan functions as Jim's personal secretary and travels with him most of the time.  Jim and Joan have 8 grandchildren.

Jolene is the wife of James M. Rickard.  She works during tax season has a checker and will begin preparing returns this year.  Jolene has been working for us for 14 years.  She graduated from Westmont College with a degree in Kinesiology.

Diana works full-time during tax season.  Her sweet voice is the one you are most likely to hear when you call the office during the season.  Diana and her husband have 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
