  Donations

Contributions from January 11, 2010 to March 1, 2010 to charities providing
earthquake relief in Haiti may be claimed on either the 2009 or 2010 tax
return.

The 2010 mileage rate is 50
˘ per mile.

There are numerous tax changes for 2009 so our questionnaire has several
new questions.  There are many things which may not have applied to you
in the past but will be applicable to you now.  If you pay property taxes or
have purchased a car but do not itemize, these expenses can still increase
your standard deduction.  Be sure you fill out the questionnaire completely.

The first-time home buyer credit has been extended and expanded.  If you
buy a new home before April 30, 2010 you may qualify.  See our website for
more details at
http://ssfoundation.net/homebuyer_credit.htm

If you are receiving Social Security benefits you most likely received an
economic stimulus payment of $250.  This was probably directly deposited into your checking
account sometime during the spring of 2009.  Your tax preparer will need to know if you or
your spouse received this payment.

Due to the current economic climate many pastors and churches are finding our CD series
“Biblical Stewardship:  A Guide to True Financial Freedom” an invaluable resource for their
congregation.  You will find a description of the series as well as an order form on our website
at:
http://ssfoundation.net/Biblical%20Stewardship%20CD-series.htm

Because many of you have asked about making a donation to the Stewardship Services
Foundation we will be including the following letter when we mail you your completed
tax return:

Because we do not have fees for our services many of you are asking the question:

“Can we contribute to your ministry in appreciation for all that you
do for Pastors, Churches, and Missionaries?”

Yes you can.  Continuing tax law changes have increased our cost.  Although it is not
a requirement your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your ministry in this unique way.
